Numerous spectacular developments are happening every day in the world of technology and we anticipate that the latest innovations will be just around the corner. In these times of digitization, a lot of things have been made much easier for us; for example, just think of smartphones.

At any moment of the day, you can not only make phone calls with people all over the world and write short messages, but now also surf the entire internet or share the latest photos, all while on the go. And all within a few seconds, in just a few steps and with just a couple of taps or swipes on the screen. For many people today, life and work without their smartphone would be inconceivable. Most have their whole lives saved in this one mobile device. All of their important data and contacts are available here.

And these kinds of developments have not escaped the world of measuring instruments. The latest advance in the history of the hand-held instruments is the X Series with the Lufft XA1000. The instrument was developed specifically to measure humidity, temperature, CO2 and air flow. This unit includes highly sensitive sensors which precisely and accurately identify the environmental data required. The data collected is then stored on the built-in flash drive and then transferred via micro-USB to the PC, where the data can be immediately evaluated and visualized with the included SmartGraph3 program. The software provides a clear display and simple overview of all the data collected.

Like a smartphone, the XA1000 features a bright, large color touchscreen display. The convenient one-handed operation makes the workday all that much easier and the information can be easily controlled as needed.

The XA1000 has numerous applications in the plumbing and HVAC trades and is also of great use for architects, engineers and measurement technicians. It can even be used to collect quality and reference data in the pharmaceuticals and food industries. The XA1000 will be coming on the market in a few weeks on the market and can be ordered through select distributors or online at www.lufft-xseries.com.
