At this year’s WorldMediaFestival in Hamburg and WorldFest in Houston Lufft received two awards for the XA1000 product film. In this case, we relied on the Studio NCP Film in Kempten, that gained over 20 film awards since 2007. More about the strong team and the awards here in the blog post …
In September last year a small masterpiece was created by the producer of the XA1000 product film NCP film in Kempten. Since 2013, the measurement and control technology producer from Fellbach has been trusting in Annett Väterlein and Klaus Umfahrer when it comes to high-quality short films. As a reward, it won two prizes at two different festivals: Gold at the World Media Festival in Hamburg 2014 in the category Sales Promotion and the Platinum Remi award at the World Festival in Houston 2014 in the category Advertising and Promotion.
Lufft has recognized the importance of a high-quality product presentation and creates B2B advertising on a B2C level. Therefore Lufft also was honored with the title Brand of the Century in 2013. “Our innovative products are simple to use, fast and precise and this is what we want to emphasize in our markteing communication,” said Managing Director Klaus Hirzel.
The WorldFest in Houston was established in form of an annual film festival by Hunter Todd in April 1961. In contrast to similar events such as in New York and San Francisco, it focuses on independent films and filmmakers, which tend to be small studios. In addition to the awards with six different prize categories, there are various film screenings, seminars, a sailing regatta and a great Texas barbecue to wind down. It is visited annually by over 35,000 participants, of which around 550 are international filmmakers. Famous Remi Award winners are Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and David Lynch amongst others. The Remi Award was named after the artist Frederic Remington, who is known for his cowboy pictures and sculptures. The Platinum Award is the highest possible prize within the sub categories. There are ten major categories, such as “independent shorts”, “tv commercials / public service announcements” or “music videos”, which are further divided into sub categories. “Advertising and promotion” belongs to the main category “film & video production”. The highest award is the Special Jury Award in the main categories. This year 741 participants were awarded next to NCP Film.
The awards are judged by the combination of text, editing, creativity and the graphics used. There are the award ranges intermedia-globe Grand Prix, intermedia-globe Grand Award, Special Award, intermedia-globe Gold and intermedia-globe Silver. The World Media Festival awards focuses not only on the creative and technical excellence of the productions but also on how well it speaks to its target groups, which is special compared to other platforms. The XA1000 film was honored with the intermedia Gold Award in the category of Sales Promotions.
In all previous film projects, Lufft relied on NCP Film, a small film studio located in Kempten. It was founded in 1999 and since then has written a successful corporate history. It’s professional creativity and over 20-years experience of Annett Väterlein und Klaus Umfahrer has made them win more than 20 prizes since 2007. Both emerged from the movie industry instead of advertising agencies and therefore know what is important when it comes to professional (short) films. Besides Lufft, NCP Film has renowned clients such as Lufthansa, MAN and Liebherr. NCP Film (formerly Niklas Cinema Performance Filmproduktion) produced over 80 advertising films, trailers and commercials already. More information under www.ncp-film.de.
