It makes your measuring network future-proof through 4G (LTE)\/ 2G mobile communication and provides reliable system up-time as well as accurate measurements while avoiding data gaps. The mobile communication unit allows remote configuration and monitoring to avoid costly trips to your measurement site. The data is transferred encrypted with automatic retries if transmission fails.<\/p>\n<p>The new water level logger supports mobile devices, smart phones, and tablets operating with Android, iOS or Windows 10 and can be managed using the responsive <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.sutron.linkcomm&amp;hl=gsw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LinkComm App<\/a>. Also, the cable length can be adjusted comfortably on-site. As the successor of the well-established <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ott.com\/de-de\/produkte\/wasserstand-49\/ott-ecolog-500-64\/\">OTT ecoLog 500<\/a> it will replace it completely in 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/info.otthydromet.com\/1939_CNT_OTT_c-hydro_ecoLog-1000-Launch-Webinar-EN_Landing-Page_19-Landing-page.html?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=Hydro19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Learn more about the new OTT ecoLog 1000 in a recording of the intro webinar<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>The ISE sensors for the HYDROLAB series of water quality sondes launched in October<br \/><\/strong><\/h3>\n<div id=\"attachment_891\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-892\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ott.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ISE-sondes.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"170\" height=\"138\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">The newly introduced ISE sensors for HL7 and HL4 water quality sondes<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>ISE stands for \u201cion-selective electrode\u201d and describes a sensor that converts the activity of a certain ion dissolved in water into an electrical potential. The newly introduced ISE sensors for ammonium, nitrate and chloride from HYDROLAB are robust and work in water depths of up to 15 meters.<\/p>\n<p>They are especially suitable for spot measurements where the sensors are calibrated prior to the measurement campaign. Frequent quality checks and re-calibrations are required for longer periods of use. The HYDROLAB probes HL4 and HL7 support the user with a sophisticated maintenance and information concept. When connected to the operating software, the probe uses status displays to indicate whether calibration of the respective sensors is necessary. It was developed with the help of our partner Kisters \u2013 a renowned engineering company and experienced software developer founded in 1963.<\/p>\n<p>HydroMet View is browser-based and therefore accessible from anywhere \u2013 even via smartphone or tablet. The software enables access to critical water level, discharge or precipitation data for flood or heavy rain events as well as current webcam images. The collected data is stored in Germany in accordance with EU regulations. In addition, the HydroMet View guarantees you reliable service availability, even in the event of high access rates e.g. in the event of an alarm.<\/p>\n<p>The HydroMet View software is particularly suitable for the new OTT ecoLog 1000 water level logger, non-contact radar level sensors, rain gauges and more. For this a simple system was required and a very discrete installation needed due to high chances of vandalism and low budgets available from the customer.
