3. Discover our multi-parameter weather sensors for site monitoring<\/h2>\n

Why offer all probes separately if they can be combined? When wondering about this, the idea to offer an integrated, modular sensor solution was born. In 2008 Lufft launched the first multi-parameter weather sensor, the WS600<\/a> model. Nowadays, the family<\/a> has grown to 19 members meeting all kinds of weather monitoring needs. The benefits are obvious: multi-parameter concepts lead to less wiring with lower installation effort and maintenance-free operation.<\/p>\n

Many of the Lufft weather sensors are well-suited for solar site assessment<\/a> and permanent monitoring<\/a>. Solar irradiation and ambient temperature are the most important parameters to measure, since the higher the temperature the lower the solar cell efficiency. Further factors to be considered are wind strength and direction, as well as precipitation types, quantity and intensity. These parameters deliver info on natural cleaning effects and for damage prevention on the solar array. Moreover, measurement of humidity is recommended due to frost and dew.<\/p>\n\n
