Learn more about his background and his plans in the following post.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Niemand lernt jemals aus.\">Nobody ever stops learning. <\/span><span title=\"Und gro\u00dfe Herausforderungen sind die beste Lektion.\">And great challenges are the best lesson. <\/span><span title=\"Also entschied ich mich dazu, eine letzte gro\u00dfe Herausforderung anzunehmen, bevor ich dem Arbeitsleben Lebewohl sage. \">So I decided to take a last big challenge before I say goodbye to the work life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Mein Einstieg bei Lufft als neuer Vertriebsleiter stellt meiner Meinung nach eine echte Win-Win-Situation dar: Ich darf mich einer ambitionierten Herausforderung stellen und verhelfe Lufft dabei zu mehr Umsatz, Knowhow und Struktur.\">My entry to Lufft as a new sales manager is, in my opinion, a real win-win situation: I&#8217;m allowed to face an ambitious challenge and help Lufft to boost sales, know-how and structure. <\/span><span title=\"Ich greife dabei auf \u00fcber 25 Jahre Erfahrung zur\u00fcck, die ich in der Dentalmedizintechnik-Branche sowie bei einem namhaften Messtechnikhersteller sammelte. \">In doing so, I fall back on more than 25 years of experience, which I gathered in the dental medicine industry as well as at a well-known manufacturer of measurement technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Ein berufsbegleitendes Ausbildungsprogramm mit Marketing- und Vertriebsschwerpunkt sowie diverse Trainings bereiteten mich auf leitende Positionen vor.\">A professional training program with marketing and sales focus as well as various other trainings prepared me for senior positions.\u00a0<\/span><span title=\"Diese \u00fcbernahm ich dann ab 1992 \u2013 zun\u00e4chst als Leiter einer Business Unit, Area-Manager, Projekt- und Produktmanager, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer und nun als Lufft-Vertriebsleiter. \">These I took over beginning in 1992 &#8211; initially as head of a business unit, then as area manager, project and product manager, managing director and now as Lufft sales manager.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span title=\"In meiner bisherigen Laufbahn wurde immer wieder deutlich: Das Wertvollste einer Firma sind verl\u00e4ssliche und motivierte Teams, die eine offene Feedback-Kultur pflegen.\">In my career up to now I recognized what the most valuable factors of a company are: reliable and motivated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lufft.com\/about-us\/your-contacts\/\" target=\"_blank\">teams<\/a> living an open feedback culture. <\/span><span title=\"Zudem sollten alle stets im Sinne des Unternehmens denken und handeln.\">Moreover, everyone should always think and act in the sense of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lufft.com\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\">company<\/a>. <\/span><span title=\"Nur so lassen sich Herausforderungen erfolgreich und effizient meistern. \">These are the best ways to master challenges successfully and efficiently.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Team- und Partnermanagement erfordert daher viel Feingef\u00fchl und Kollegialit\u00e4t.\">Team and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lufft.com\/find-a-distributor\/\" target=\"_blank\">partner management<\/a> therefore require a lot of sensitivity, collegiality a<\/span><span title=\"Und einer gesunden Management-Einstellung getreu dem Motto \u201eerwarte nie mehr von Anderen als du selbst bereit bist zu geben&quot;. \">nd a healthy management attitude true to the motto &#8220;never expect more from others than you are willing to give&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Nur so konnten mein bisheriges Team und ich es schaffen, einem traditionellen Unternehmen zu neuem Schwung zu verhelfen.\">This is how my former team and I have managed to impart new impetus to a traditional company. <\/span><span title=\"Jeder einzelne Kollege und Vertriebspartner war in den Change-Management-Prozess involviert.\">Each individual colleague and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lufft.com\/find-a-distributor\/\" target=\"_blank\">sales partner<\/a> was involved in the change management process. <\/span><span title=\"Dadurch gelang uns der Wandel hin zum effizienten und modernen High-Tech-Unternehmen. \">This allowed us to become an efficient and modern high-tech company.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Change-Management ist derzeit auch bei Lufft angesagt: Ein traditionsreicher, stark wachsender Messtechnikhersteller, der eine Zeit des Umbruchs durchlebt.\">Change management is currently also important for Lufft: The traditional, fast-growing manufacturer of measurement technology is undergoing a period of change. <\/span><span title=\"Die \u00dcbernahme durch Ott Hydromet ist zwangsl\u00e4ufig damit verbunden, zu einer Gruppe zusammenzuwachsen und Kr\u00e4fte zu b\u00fcndeln.\">The acquisition by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ott.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ott Hydromet<\/a> is associated with growing into a group and bundling forces. <\/span><span title=\"Es ist daher \u00e4u\u00dferst spannend f\u00fcr mich, an diesem Punkt einzusteigen.\">It&#8217;s therefore extremely exciting for me to get involved at this point.
