If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.

Our Managing Director Dr. Martin Nicklas says goodbye to 2017 with an end-of-the-year review and gives an outlook on what is expected in the new year.

“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.“

Henry Ford

First and foremost, I would like to thank you, dear customer, for your trust in us and in our products. Thanks to you, we exported our intelligent sensors into 70 different countries. At this point, my thanks also goes to the whole Lufft team, who worked globally to support you with the best possible service.

2017 – another year entailing exciting changes for Lufft!

Lufft wouldn’t be Lufft if we didn’t work continuously on improvements. Therefore, we have broken new ground in 2017 in order to provide you with innovative and high-quality products. We launched more products in 2017 than ever before – and that makes us very proud.

Our product innovations can be found on the newly designed Lufft Homepage, where, among others, you will find info on fields of applications with examples. I also recommend visiting our product webinar recordings page, especially our recent WS100 precipitation sensor webinar recording. Furthermore, you can participate in the next webinar live by registering at the next opportunity.

As the personal exchange with you is very important to us, through the new website, we also made it easier to find the right contact person depending on your needs.

In the spirit of continuous improvement, we also gained a couple of new key players on our Lufft team

Achim Molthan has been the Sales Manager for Lufft since July. He has many years of industry experience and extensive expertise. The newly created position enabled us to expand and strengthen our customer focus and our sales force.

Michael Elfert took his new position as Head of Finance at Lufft. Before, he worked at our parent company OTT. Thus, he gained a lot of valuable experience and knowhow.

As a result of the two new executive positions filled in 2017, we were able to systematically expand our action repertoire in order to meet future challenges adequately and to continue our success course.

Our aim in the new year

Our aim for 2018 is to sustainably build on this existing basis for success. This means, in the first place, that we are expanding our product portfolio with new sensors.

On the other hand it means, that we would like to use the opportunities we gained as a member of the OTT Hydromet Group even more – for your benefit. Further, this means that we want to offer combined product solutions and services from a single source. Due to recent developments, we can now offer combined solutions which include the outstanding products of Kipp & Zonen, whose employees I would like to welcome to the Group. I am looking forward to the cooperation.

I thank you all for the trust you have placed in us along with the good cooperation & partnerships. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a successful start into the new year!
