A great film for a great project – the MARWIS product movie

A few days ago it was finally done: The MARWIS movie was ready. I watched the video immediately after I got these news and it made my heart beat faster. That MARWIS is a sensational product, I knew already, but can this be communicated by the movie appropriately?

MARWIS Film Titel DE 02

In some shootings, I was on the set and also helped with the preparations. So I know on how much time and effort it is based. Scenes that are only several seconds long in the movie, can take the time of several days for the shootings. I can still clearly remember this one evening watching fascinated the way the two film crew members work: Multiple angles of the same scene – again and again and the question of how it would probably look later in the result.

In the preparations we were able to get great helpers by using our sales contacts. They stood in as dedicated actors as well as with other contributions. They are all either Lufft colleagues or volunteer staff of the City of Stuttgart and other external Lufft partners. Next to starring the scenes they also provided the setting in vehicles or in front of the large traffic screen in the motorway directorate. Without this cooperation we wouldn’t have been able to manage this special movie!

When I saw the video for the first time, I immediately thought of Hollywood and was impressed. A big part of the film was not even shot but expensively animated by the filmmakers from NCP. The professional team of two people realized already two other projects for Lufft, of which the XA1000 product film was honored with two international film awards.

With the MARWIS product video we now even go one better, which was the reason for the long processing time. Usually, the post production takes the most time – not the shooting itself. Because nowadays much more is cut and animated in general. Previously, individual camera settings were usually longer, but today’s eye is accustomed to a faster and more dynamic apposition of movie cuts.

Thus, from a supposed “tell-movie” an entertaining action movie was evolved. It transfers the product image as it really is: extremely practical, versatile and fast. It is also easy to see how MARWIS turns different vehicles into “smart mobile weather stations” within the twinkling of an eye.

But since a picture is worth more than a thousand words, here is the video itself:
