Platz belegte, beschlossen beide Parteien die Partnerschaft aufrechtzuerhalten.<\/p>\n<p>Bei der\u00a0<a class=\"broken_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.worldsolarchallenge.org\/dashboard\/galleries\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bridgestone World Solar Challenge<\/a>\u00a0handelt es sich um ein 3020 km langes Solarauto-Rennen durch das australische Outback. Sie gilt als die f\u00fchrende Weltmeisterschaft dieser besonderen Sportart und findet alle zwei Jahre statt. Das\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarteam.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Punch Powertrain Solar Team<\/a>\u00a0besteht aus 21 angehenden Ingenieuren, die an der\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kuleuven.be\/english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KU Leuven<\/a>\u00a0studieren. Ihr selbstentwickeltes, solarbetriebenes Rennauto geht gegen 43 andere Teams aus aller Welt ins Rennen.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend des Wettbewerbs im letzten Jahr entwickelte das Team aus Belgien ein neues Feature, das sie \u201eCrab-Steering\u201c (\u201eKrebs-Lenkung\u201c) nennen. Mithilfe dieser Innovation lassen sich Seitenwind-Effekte zu ihrem Vorteil nutzen: Das neue Lenksystem erm\u00f6glicht es n\u00e4mlich, das gesamte Fahrwerk in einem bestimmten Winkel zu drehen. Dadurch l\u00e4sst sich das Auto wie ein Wind-Segel einsetzen und mithilfe der aerodynamischen Kraft eine h\u00f6here Geschwindigkeit erreichen.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Neuerung in Verbindung mit einem insgesamt sehr ausgekl\u00fcgelten Lenksystem verhalf dem Team im letzten Jahr zu einem Innovationspreis. M\u00f6glich wurde dies u.a. auch durch die von der Lufft zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellten Wetterstationen.<\/p>\n<p>Nach dem Rennen will das Team sein Fahrzeug f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten World Solar Challenges weiter verbessern. Um dies zu erreichen, sind viele Feldtests n\u00f6tig. Da die Ingenieure in Spe die Auswirkungen des Windes auf ihr Auto besser verstehen wollen, ist es wichtig die Wind-Geschwindigkeit und -Richtung w\u00e4hrend der Tests genau zu \u00fcberwachen. Zur Unterst\u00fctzung stattete Lufft sie mit einem\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lufft.com\/de-de\/produkte\/windsensoren-anemometer-307\/ventus-umb-ultraschall-windsensor-1795\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VENTUS<\/a>\u00a0Ultraschallsensor aus, der die erforderlichen, besonders genauen Daten liefert. Dies ist immens wichtig f\u00fcr die weitere Optimierung der Aerodynamic sowie die Festlegung des perfekten Winkels der innovativen \u201eKrabbenlenkung\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Die stetige Weiterentwicklung der Fahrzeugtechnik spielt eine wichtige Rolle f\u00fcr die Fortsetzung des Erfolgskurses bei der World Solar Challenge.
